Carole Vega signe le grand retour de Classic Rock sur RTL2 avec une émission antidote au blues de la rentrée. L'heure s'ouvre avec AC/DC, puis un hommage vibrant à Carole King par James Taylor, suivi du "Sir Duke" de Stevie Wonder. Place ensuite à la puissance de "Dream On" d'Aerosmith. La deuxième partie accueille Wilson Pickett, Supertramp et Fleetwood Mac, tandis qu'Aretha Franklin électrise avec "Chain of Fools".
